About the position

Sasaki Associates is seeking a Junior Level Interior Designer to join their interdisciplinary design firm. This role focuses on creating authentic and inspiring interior spaces, particularly in workplace design and higher education facilities. The position emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and the ability to engage with clients while delivering detailed design concepts from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate detailed design concepts
• Perform production functions: drafting, documentation, and model creation
• Prepare design presentation packages
• Perform assignments including basic plans, elevations, renderings, square foot calculations, and materials investigations.

Requirements

• A Professional Degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited program
• 1-3+ years of experience
• High level of proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft suites
• Proficiency in rendering and Enscape
• Documentation skills in Revit
• Design skills in SketchUp (Rhino a plus)
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Organizational skills and time management
