About the position

The Junior Logistics Manager at PE Systems, Inc. will support the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Program at Peterson AFB, Colorado Springs, CO. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing logistical operations while ensuring compliance with defense acquisition management processes. The ideal candidate will work both independently and collaboratively within a project team, contributing to the successful implementation of logistics management programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute logistical operations for the NC3 Program.
• Integrate separate functions in planning or implementing a logistics management program.
• Conduct Logistics Health Assessments (LHA) and develop Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP).
• Lead project teams in completing complex logistics projects.
• Evaluate the efforts of functional specialists to identify specific requirements and adjust plans accordingly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Up to 3 years of related experience in logistics management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Project.
• Ability to maintain a government security clearance at the Secret level.
• Experience with defense acquisition management processes in accordance with DoD 5000.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with government furnished equipment (GFE) programs.
• Familiarity with agency program planning and funding management information systems.
