JetPens is seeking a Junior Marketing Associate - Content Creator to join our dynamic team in San Jose, CA. As a growing online retailer specializing in premium writing instruments and office supplies, we have garnered attention from notable publications such as Wired, New York Times, and CNBC. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing initiatives by creating engaging content for our various social media platforms, particularly our YouTube channel. This position is full-time and requires a strong commitment to producing high-quality video content that aligns with our brand's vision and marketing goals. In this role, you will be responsible for filming both short- and long-form content based on assigned scripts, ensuring that each piece resonates with our target audience. You will also research best practices for short-form content on popular social media channels, including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok, to enhance our online presence. Developing and implementing JetPens branding for this content is essential, as is the ability to generate fresh and innovative ideas that reflect current trends in the market. The successful candidate will possess exceptional copywriting, social media, and video production skills, with a proven ability to execute ideas quickly and efficiently. Strong communication skills and a reliable team-oriented approach are vital, as you will be managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. A passion for marketing communications and a Bachelor's degree in a marketing or communications-related field are required for this position. This is an on-site role, and we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about contributing to our marketing efforts and growing with our company.
Responsibilities
- Film short- and long-form content for JetPens YouTube channel based on assigned scripts.
- Research best practices for short form content on social media channels including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok.
- Develop and implement JetPens branding for short-form content in the above channels.
- Come up with fresh and interesting ideas based on current trends.
Requirements
- Exceptional copywriting, social media, and video production skills.
- Able to execute ideas quickly and have a results-driven and efficient workflow.
