About the position

The Junior Operations Research Analyst (Model Based) position at Sabre Systems involves supporting customers at Patuxent River Naval Air Station by providing systems engineering support for weapons systems. The role focuses on technical research and development, analysis, and documentation throughout the acquisition process and lifecycle of various aircraft and weapon systems. The analyst will apply scientific, mathematical, and statistical methodologies to solve technological problems and utilize mathematical modeling and analytical techniques for experiments and evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Support systems engineering for weapons systems at Patuxent River Naval Air Station.
• Conduct technical research and development of technologies related to aircraft and weapon systems.
• Analyze and document the technical performance and mission suitability of systems.
• Evaluate acquisition risks throughout the full acquisition process and lifecycle.
• Apply scientific, mathematical, and statistical methodologies to engineering problems.
• Design and execute procedures for experiments, tests, and evaluations on weapons systems or equipment.
• Utilize model-based systems engineering (MBSE) practices and tools.

Requirements

• Management, Technical or Scientific AS or AA degree required.
• Experience using MBSE Tools such as Cameo System Modeler, Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud, and Cameo Collaborator.
• Completion of a SysML modeling language course is required.
• Active DoD secret clearance is mandatory.
• Ability to pass a background investigation is required.
• Must be a US Citizen.
