About the position

The Junior Pavement Data Analyst role at Insight Global involves troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating electronic, electrical, and mechanical components of automated pavement measurement equipment. The position requires participation in the design, fabrication, and procurement of data measurement systems, as well as maintaining equipment inventory and assisting in data processing and analysis. The ideal candidate will also prepare presentations, write operation manuals, and develop equipment specifications, ensuring tasks are performed with minimal supervision while adhering to standard practices.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate electronic, electrical, and mechanical components of automated pavement measurement equipment.
• Participate in the design, fabrication, and procurement of data measurement systems.
• Maintain equipment inventory and assist in data processing and analysis.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and write operation manuals.
• Develop equipment specifications and participate in testing, calibration, and correlation of pavement data measurement systems.

Requirements

• Previous knowledge of working on trailers, including replacing tires, wheel bearings, and maintenance on trailer brakes.
• Experience working with control computers.
• Experience working with hydraulic systems, including bleeding hydraulic systems.
• Basic understanding of road surfaces, including texture components of roads.
• Basic understanding of a 3D camera and how the lasers in the camera work.
