In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Administration Purser with payroll and time and attendance processes. This includes the accurate recording and processing of shipboard payroll for all crew members, as well as managing the import/export of overtime hours. You will also be tasked with distributing payroll envelopes to crew members and collecting crew folio balances. Your assistance will be crucial in monitoring and ensuring compliance with the time and attendance card process, as well as managing weekly and monthly timecards. A key aspect of this position involves holding a float of $10,000 to assist crew members with various cash requirements. You will be responsible for facilitating foreign currency exchanges using the BOA/GFC (Global Foreign Currency) application. Additionally, you will assist the Administration Purser with time and attendance timecards and the collection of bar bills during payroll distribution and throughout the voyage as needed. You will also collect all ticket deposits according to the Airline Ticket Matrix/Policy, maintain records of all payments and refunds, and handle the collection of travel packages for designated tipping personnel, including managing refunds for these packages. Finally, you will settle collected funds on a voyage basis with the Financial Controller and assist with the semi-monthly payroll process for all shipboard departments, including payments for sign-off crew members.
