About the position

The Junior Power BI Data Analyst position is a contract role based in Framingham, MA, with a hybrid work model that allows for remote work two days a week if needed. This position is designed for individuals with 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, specifically with Power BI. The contract is set for three months, with the possibility of extension, and requires a commitment of 36.25 hours per week. The primary focus of this role is to assist in the migration of reports into Power BI, ensuring that business requirements are recognized and translated into actionable data models that provide relevant insights. In this role, the analyst will be responsible for creating dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI, defining key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with specific business objectives, and regularly tracking these metrics. The analyst will also analyze data and present it in a manner that supports decision-making processes. A critical aspect of the job involves converting business needs into technical specifications, establishing timelines for project completion, and executing efficient deep analysis through the creation, testing, and deployment of Power BI scripts. Additionally, the analyst will construct a data warehouse and utilize SQL queries to optimize data retrieval and results. The role also includes making technological adjustments to existing BI systems to enhance their performance and employing filters and visualizations to improve data understanding. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in data analysis.
