About the position

We are seeking a passionate and talented Junior Product Development Designer to join our client's dynamic product development team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of innovative products for both adult and kids markets. As a Junior Product Development Designer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development process, collaborating closely with senior designers, engineers, and cross-functional teams. From concept to production, you will help bring new product ideas to life, focusing on hard home artwork. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing artwork for designated product programs using software such as Photoshop and Illustrator. You will collaborate with the Product Development team from concept meetings through artwork execution and prototype stages. Your support will be essential in the development of hard home artwork for various product categories aimed at both adult and kids markets. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn and grow within the product development field while contributing to exciting projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute artwork for designated product programs using Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Collaborate with the Product Development team from concept meetings through artwork execution and prototype stages.
• Support the development of hard home artwork for various product categories aimed at adult and kids markets.

Requirements

• 3+ years in Product Development with relevant product categories.
• Proficiency in Illustrator is a must.
• Degree in Design or equivalent work experience.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to communicate and interpret conceptual design ideas.
• Ability to handle multiple projects with flexibility and ease.
• Strong organization and follow-through skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of competitive products and brands.
• Ability to select color palettes; requires knowledge of current color and trend information.
