About the position

The Junior Product Manager for Equities at TP ICAP is responsible for supporting the global product management organization and contributing to critical new global initiatives. This role involves collaborating with various teams to define product requirements, manage product initiatives, and derive insights from product data to assess success and customer satisfaction. The position requires a balance of strategic thinking and attention to detail, ensuring that user needs are met while considering technical limitations and market goals.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with end users, stakeholders, and fellow product managers to explore, evaluate, and define product requirements for enhancements and new features to Liquidnet's product suite.
  • Write detailed business requirements, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
  • Own product initiatives from inception through user acceptance testing and rollout.
  • Derive actionable insights from product and user behavior data to assess product success/customer satisfaction and present results to senior stakeholders in a digestible format.
  • Support product leads in the formulation of strategy presentations for stakeholders, senior management, and leadership.
  • Build a technical understanding of how the product works and determine how to compromise between end-user needs, technical limitations, and time to market goals.
  • Become a day-to-day subject matter expert for global sales, marketing, and support teams on Liquidnet's product suite.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and structured thinking skills.
  • Experience and understanding of a Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Ability to manage numerous and changing priorities, meet deadlines and communicate effectively with co-workers at all levels.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Basic understanding and experience with data querying and scripting languages.

Nice-to-haves

  • Some knowledge of Equity Trading.
  • Experience of working in a Product Management team preferred.
  • Equivalent work experience or degree qualified.
