About the position

Hansen Talent Group is seeking an eager Agile Business System Analyst or junior Product Owner to join an amazing Scrum team in the Columbia, SC area. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting large scale IT products utilizing Agile delivery methodologies and is able to work onsite. The Product Owner will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and support to the delivery of client IT products and product improvement efforts. This role is crucial in ensuring that the product development aligns with business goals and meets client expectations. The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that the product vision is clearly communicated and understood across teams. In this position, you will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, which will be instrumental in developing product roadmaps for delivery. You will serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams, ensuring streamlined communications and providing regular updates and recommendations. Managing the product backlog will be a key responsibility, where you will develop workflows, prioritize tasks, and track tickets to ensure that milestones for delivery are met. Additionally, you will provide recommendations on process and product improvement, and create comprehensive product documentation to support the development process.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or similar field.
  • Experience working with enterprise product delivery in an Agile environment.
  • Hands-on product backlog grooming experience.
