About the position

We seek a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our dynamic team. The Product Owner will be responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring the development team is working on the most valuable features, and delivering a product that meets the needs of our customers and stakeholders. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring that the product vision aligns with business objectives and customer needs. In this position, you will work closely with stakeholders to develop and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap. You will create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that the development team always has a clear understanding of the highest priority tasks. Writing clear, concise user stories with acceptance criteria will be a key part of your responsibilities, ensuring that user stories are well-defined and ready for the development team. You will lead sprint planning sessions, ensuring the development team understands the goals and priorities for each sprint. Additionally, you will coordinate and plan product releases, ensuring all necessary tasks are completed and the product is ready for launch. Monitoring product performance and user feedback post-release will be essential, as you will use data and feedback to make informed decisions about future product iterations. As a champion of Agile practices within the team, you will continuously work to improve the development process.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to develop and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog.
• Write clear, concise user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations.
• Lead sprint planning sessions, ensuring the development team understands the goals and priorities for each sprint.
• Coordinate and plan product releases, ensuring all necessary tasks are completed and the product is ready for launch.
• Monitor product performance and user feedback post-release.
• Champion Agile practices within the team, continuously improving the development process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in a Product Owner or similar role.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong understanding of software development processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with product management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree is a plus.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certification is preferred.
