About the position
The Junior Program Analyst at ACT1 Federal will support the Security Cooperation Program Office (SCPO) within the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Sustainment Group. This role involves assisting senior analysts in providing Life Cycle Logistics (LCL) support services for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers, contributing to program analysis, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of technical deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Supports program analysis efforts, including research of special topics, preparation and coordination of reports, and development of monitoring systems.
- Tracks the implementation of required corrective actions and milestone accomplishments.
- Teams with other program management and engineering professionals in direct support of platform capability development and fielding.
- Reviews and tracks technical deliverables for accuracy and completeness.
- Tracks project schedules across affiliated programs, Integrate Product Team (IPT).
- Coordinates updates to programs' Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
- Drafts technical and administrative correspondence for IPT review and submission.
- Prepares program status summaries and presentations.
- Schedules future team technical events, coordinates team travel, and prepares travel estimates.
- Attends meetings, reviews, and conferences as required and prepares meeting minutes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Less than three (3) years of work experience in a field related to FMS, logistics, program management, or a technical or business analysis discipline related to acquisition, life cycle management, analysis, or planning.
- Active Secret or Interim Secret Clearance is required.
