About the position

The Junior QA Manual Tester is responsible for ensuring the quality of software products through manual testing processes. This role involves creating test plans, executing test cases, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues. The tester will explore features during development to identify potential problems and will participate in the bug triage and release processes.

Responsibilities

• Follow the appropriate testing strategy for each case
• Create test plans and test conditions
• Explore features as they are being developed to identify design, testability, and usability issues
• Write and execute test cases/scripts; providing daily updates using ALM, JIRA, and other tools
• Understand common software failures and faults and best practices
• Create issue reports and work with Developers to resolve appropriately
• Represent product quality as part of regular bug triage and release process
• Modify data by maintenance or executing transactions to create a scenario that fulfills testing requirements
• Perform integrity and regression testing using a combination of manual and automated techniques
• Must have knowledge on SQL

Requirements

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Must be a team player and have the ability to work well with others
• Some familiarity with QA fundamentals
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Required experience level 0-4 years
