About the position

Pantheon Data is seeking several Junior Research Analysts to support a major Defense Health Agency (DHA) Innovation Program. This role is crucial in assisting various aspects of the program across all workstreams. The Junior Research Analyst will be responsible for conducting thorough research, analyzing data, and providing actionable insights that will aid in decision-making and project execution. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Program Manager, Project Managers, and other team members to ensure the successful delivery of program goals and objectives. In this position, the Junior Research Analyst will gather data from diverse sources to support program and project activities. They will analyze this data to develop insights that inform decision-making and project planning. Additionally, the analyst will assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation for stakeholders, ensuring that all materials are clear, concise, and informative. The role also involves supporting the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and other project management tools, which are essential for tracking progress and ensuring alignment with program goals. The Junior Research Analyst will monitor and track project progress, identifying potential issues and providing recommendations for resolution. They will also assist in developing and implementing best practices and process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of research activities. Participation in team meetings to provide updates on research activities and findings is expected, as is ensuring compliance with relevant standards, policies, and guidelines in all research activities. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Economics, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R, Python).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic knowledge of project management principles and practices.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Economics, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Experience working within the Department of Defense (DoD) or healthcare industry.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and the systems development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry trends and advancements.
  • Experience with AI/ML a plus.
