Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Research Analyst to join our team in the DMV area. We have opportunities in the Washington, DC area as well as Northern Virginia and Maryland. If you are looking for an opportunity in any of those locations, we encourage you to apply. As a Junior Research Analyst, you will conduct comprehensive research and analyze data to support decision making and strategic planning. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and synthesize information, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations. Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth research on various topics, including market trends, industry analysis, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies. You will gather data from multiple sources, including databases, reports, websites, and primary research, and analyze and interpret this data using statistical methods and qualitative techniques. You will be responsible for identifying key trends, patterns, and insights from research findings, developing reports, presentations, and summaries to communicate these findings to stakeholders. Additionally, you will assist in the implementation of research projects, including survey development and data collection, and support the development and maintenance of research databases and knowledge repositories.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Social Sciences, or related discipline.
  • High School and 4 years of additional experience may be used in lieu of required degree.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency in using statistical software and data analysis tools.
  • Proficient in conducting research using various sources, including databases, online platforms, and academic journals.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Business, Economics, Social Sciences, or related discipline.
  • Familiarity with research methodologies, data visualization techniques, and statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge of data collection and survey design.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with qualitative research methods (e.g., interviews, focus groups).
