About the position

The Junior Sales Manager at EVEN Hotels is responsible for actively prospecting and qualifying new business opportunities while managing sales contracts and event orders. This role involves direct interaction with clients to ensure their needs are met and satisfaction is achieved, contributing to the hotel's overall sales strategy and guest experience.

Responsibilities

  • Actively prospect and qualify new business.
  • Monitor and handle inquiry calls and emails.
  • Provide client proposals in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures.
  • Produce and/or review all sales contracts, rate agreements, and banquet event orders.
  • Arrange and conduct special events, site inspections, and off-site presentations for potential clients.
  • Create banquet event orders (BEOs) and review with clients to ensure details are accurate, distributed, and executed properly.
  • Check function room setups prior to guest arrival, ensuring all details are in agreement with client's requirements and hotel standards.
  • Welcome group contact upon arrival at function and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Assist the client in menu planning, food and beverage coordination, table arrangements, decorations, traffic flow, room set-up, group room blocks, and VIP services.
  • Follow up with guests regularly during and after departure to ensure satisfaction and secure future bookings.
  • Conduct hotel and banquet facility tours and entertain qualified clients.

Requirements

  • Some college education plus 1-2 years of sales or marketing related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A related degree is preferred.
  • Prior hotel sales experience is also preferred.
