About the position

The Junior Salesforce Administrator at the Deep South Center for Environmental Justice (DSCEJ) is responsible for user support, data management, and system enhancements within Salesforce to support the organization's mission and track its impact. This role involves collaborating with various teams, maintaining data integrity, and generating reports to monitor key performance indicators.

Responsibilities

• Assist users with Salesforce queries, troubleshoot issues, and provide training as needed.
• Maintain data integrity by performing regular data imports, exports, and cleansing activities.
• Configure Salesforce features, such as page layouts, custom fields, reports, dashboards, and workflows to meet business requirements.
• Maintain user documentation, process guides, and training materials.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Assist in monitoring system performance and suggest improvements or upgrades.
• Generate and distribute reports to track key performance indicators and other metrics.
• Support Community-Based Organization (CBO) engagement work.
• Attend community meetings, activities, and events as directed by the Salesforce Administrator & Data Manager and the Director of Evaluation.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong Salesforce interest and ability to quickly master new technology.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms, including basic knowledge of CRM concepts.
• Experience with data management and reporting tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot and communicate about technical issues with non-technical team members.
• Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
