About The Position
The Junior Scrum Master position at Intone Networks is a contract role based in Miami, FL, designed for individuals who are eager to facilitate Agile practices within a team environment. As a Junior Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in guiding teams through the Scrum framework, ensuring that Agile principles are adhered to while fostering a collaborative and productive atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include organizing and facilitating daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies. You will be expected to help the team manage their backlog effectively, ensuring that tasks are prioritized and completed in a timely manner. In this role, you will also be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, which may involve navigating strong personalities and conflicting priorities. Your ability to maintain focus and drive the team towards project goals will be essential. You will utilize tools such as Jira to track progress, manage sprints, and compile dashboard reports that highlight key metrics and project statuses. Your technical skills will be put to the test as you may need to balance Scrum responsibilities with technical tasks, particularly in relation to servers and firewalls, including experience with converting systems to Palo Alto. The ideal candidate will possess strong people skills, enabling them to build and maintain relationships with network engineers and other technical staff. You will be expected to resolve conflicts and improve team performance through effective communication and collaboration. While certifications are valuable, practical experience and a commitment to staying updated on the latest technologies and best practices will be highly regarded in this position.
