Junior Snowflake Developer

About the position

We are seeking an entry-level junior Snowflake developer to join our Data Technology team. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with data warehousing and cloud computing. The Junior Developer will play a critical role by assisting the Snowflake Implementation Team in managing, optimizing, and securing our Snowflake environment to support the organization's data analytics and business intelligence initiatives. Responsibilities

• Maintenance of Snowflake cloud data platform and implementation
• Configure and manage data and associated services within Snowflake
• Implement and enforce security best practices
• Manage user access and permissions
• Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and business intelligence teams to understand data requirements and provide technical support
• Gain an understanding of complete data analytics stack and workflow

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
• Familiarity with Snowflake or other cloud-based data platform
• Cursory understanding of data warehousing concepts and database design
• Knowledge of data security, access controls, and compliance requirements
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
