About the position

FitXR is seeking a Junior Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team on an initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension. As a fitness technology company at the forefront of virtual and mixed reality, we are dedicated to building a movement for movement. Since our inception in 2016, we have grown from a small startup in a garden shed in the UK to one of the top-downloaded apps on the Meta Quest store, with over a million downloads worldwide. Our mission is to make fitness fun and accessible for everyone, and we are committed to building inclusive products through a diverse and inclusive team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing our brand's online presence and engaging with our community. You will help grow our follower audience and create fun, engaging content that drives interaction and brand loyalty. This position offers visibility within the organization, allowing you to collaborate with various teams to elevate our social media efforts and amplify our brand's impact. You will engage with our digital community, interact with followers, and amplify their voices to shape our brand's online presence. Additionally, you will assist in crafting narratives and content strategies, curating and executing impactful storytelling with both our customers and trainers. You will own the creation, execution, and optimization of social media campaigns that build strong connections with our audience. This includes creating social content such as videos, reels, and TikTok videos. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to align social media efforts with overall marketing objectives and company goals. Experimenting with innovative approaches and emerging trends in social media will be key to driving engagement, enhancing brand visibility, and uncovering new opportunities.

  • Customer-obsessed with experience in communicating with audiences.
  • Experience in growing social media followers on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok.
  • Ability to craft a cohesive and consistent Instagram grid that represents a premium but relatable brand.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with social media data analytics and reporting.
