About the position

The Junior Software Application Test Engineer will be a key member of the Regional Applications Agile Release Train (ART) within the Missile Defense National Team for Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC). This role focuses on software design, peer reviews, and the development of test specifications and infrastructure. The engineer will execute both manual and automated test analyses, support operations, and coordinate lab resources and test results with the C2BMC program and its customers.

Responsibilities

• Participate in software design and peer reviews.
• Develop test specifications and infrastructure.
• Execute manual and automated test analysis of C2BMC implementation.
• Support operations including internal messaging and control monitoring.
• Coordinate lab resources, test results, and verification status with the C2BMC program and customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or Computer Science (significant professional experience can be used in lieu of degree).
• 2+ years of professional experience in software testing or related field.
• Knowledge of Agile development processes.
• Experience with automated testing for requirement verification and performance assessment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in a DevSecOps environment.
• Active Security+ certification (desired).
• Active DOD Secret Clearance and must be a US Citizen.
