About the position

CACI is seeking a Junior Software Developer specializing in Java to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role involves analyzing and implementing solutions to complex problems related to government contract and procurement data. The developer will work within a Scaled Agile (SAFe) team to enhance systems and processes, focusing on data modeling, application development, and user experience optimization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and implement solutions using technology to solve complex problems involving government contract and procurement data.
• Architect data models and create/enhance Java applications.
• Build reports and optimize user experience.
• Support efforts to enhance the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE).
• Make adjustments or recommend enhancements in systems and processes to improve effectiveness.

Requirements

• Experience developing Java-based enterprise web applications.
• Understanding and ability to apply standards, principles, theories, and technical concepts obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
• Bachelor's Degree (BS) and minimum 0-2 years of related work experience.
• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance.
