About the position

The Junior Software Developer (Testing) position at D&G Support Services, LLC involves supporting the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) by engaging in various software testing activities. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and performance of software applications that manage logistics and supply chain data for military operations. The developer will work within a dynamic team to create innovative solutions that enhance warfighter readiness.

Responsibilities

• Support a wide range of software testing activities including writing test plans, executing tests, regression testing, performance testing, and integration testing.
• Write test cases and scripts and identify data for test scenarios.
• Support the development of test plans and scripts with consideration to end-to-end system flow.
• Execute test scripts according to application requirements documentation.
• Conduct software testing with test case management and defect tracking tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as web designers, product managers, and QA team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution, or a Bachelor's degree in any field with one of the certifications: FITSP-D, GCSA, GISF, SSCP.
• 5 years of software testing experience with IT or IT related programs supporting DoD/Federal Agencies.
• DoD Secret clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Working knowledge of Selenium, Junit, Python, Java, jQuery, C# in Visual Studio.
• Computer aided software engineering tools knowledge.
• Scrum knowledge.
• Fortify experience.
• Familiarity with SQL, Gitlab, Psql, SQL server, Oracle, RDS, DynamoDB, GIS, and cross-platform mobile development.
• Experience with USTRANSCOM IT Systems.
