About the position

The Junior Software Developer at Resort Lifestyle Communities will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting software applications for a nationally distributed team. This role involves troubleshooting software issues, assisting users with varying skill sets, and fostering positive relationships with team members and residents.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain web applications using ASP.NET MVC within the Visual Studio IDE.
• Develop reports and utility programs to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with users and IT personnel to develop new approaches to application issues.
• Work with Microsoft Office applications during conversion processes and data exchange.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Experience with ASP.NET, Web API, jQuery, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
• Ability to create queries and data objects using SQL Server Management Studio.
• Familiarity with source control tools like Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting web applications using browser Dev Tools and Fiddler.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with MS Entra or Active Directory for authentication in web apps.
• Aptitude for learning on the job in a high-visibility position.
• Ability to analyze problems and implement solutions effectively.
