The position involves designing, developing, and maintaining software applications, with a focus on experimentation and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Improves operations by conducting software systems analysis and recommends changes in policies and procedures.
- Follows software system testing and validation procedures; may suggest improvements.
- Builds business solutions using no-code and low-code tools.
- Analyzes user and client needs and requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
- Demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flow charts, layouts, diagrams and code comments.
- Executes full life cycle software development with assistance from the team.
- Serves as a subject matter expert in specific areas of expertise.
- Tailors and deploys software tools, processes and metrics.
- Stays current with job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, participating in professional organizations and maintaining communications with internal and external clients.
- Performs other duties, tasks, and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Experience working with Git.
- Familiarity with APIs.
- Basic understanding of computer systems and networks.
- Basic knowledge of Linux.
- Fundamental debugging skills.
- Ability to utilize AI tools.
- Valid Texas Driver's License with acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and background check is required.
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Basic electrical engineering skills.
- Fundamental understanding of video stream encoding.
- Experience with Airtable or similar products.
