About the position

We are seeking a skilled software tester to focus on testing middleware retail store software, particularly Order Management Systems that integrate with inventory, merchandising, fulfillment, e-commerce sites, and ERP systems. The testing will focus on retail store readiness and OMNI functionality like BOPIS, BORIS, and Endless Isle. This role will accelerate the global rollout of additional retail stores and OMNI functionality. The tester will be responsible for planning, performing, and reporting on testing. They will work closely with business stakeholders and retail store associates to involve them early in the process. The tester will primarily test the integration of vendor-provided software with Client, working on multiple (non-developer) agile teams in the Retail Technology organization. The role's focus is retail store order management testing. This tester will be on the OMNI/EOM (retail Enterprise Order Management) scrum team. They will be laser focused on Endless Aisle (AKA, "ship from warehouse") for the first 6 months, which includes some POS testing, as well as other systems. The required skills include software, systems, cross-org E2E testing, good people and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing to identify important problems in retail store middleware software.
• Collaborate with regional business stakeholders and retail store associates to test early and often.
• Plan, perform, and report on testing activities.
• Test the integration of vendor-provided software with Client.
• Work on multiple (non-developer) agile teams in the Retail Technology organization.

Requirements

• Experience with retail store software testing (POS, Order Management Systems).
• Previous experience in a retail environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to ask questions, learn quickly, and collaborate with stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong test case design skills.
• Experience with/ability to write test plans and perform cross-organization E2E software testing (e.g., from purchase to finance).
• Experience with OMNI functionality (BOPIS, BORIS, Endless Isle).
• Experience testing vendor-supported software.
• Familiarity with the SAFe Agile framework.
