About the position

We are seeking a Junior SQL Developer to join the ICOMM team, focusing on database management and development. The role emphasizes creating and optimizing SQL queries to support data analytics initiatives, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS. The Developer will contribute to automating the application suite and related processes.

Responsibilities

• Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Collaborate with data analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide solutions.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and other best practices.
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as an SQL Developer or similar role with a strong understanding of relational databases.
• Familiarity with SQL databases and queries, and some exposure to Microsoft Azure implementations.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
