About the position

Trisian-Global Consulting LLC is seeking a proactive and self-sufficient SQL Developer/Report Analyst to join our highly supportive team in Memphis, TN. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $70,000 per year. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical problem-solving skills and a desire to contribute to a collaborative work environment. As a SQL Developer, you will be responsible for reading and writing complex SQL queries, creating and modifying database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, and user-defined functions. You will also be tasked with modifying existing reporting content in SQL and ensuring that all development processes adhere to appropriate standards and procedures to support quality deliverables. In this role, you will utilize SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) to create report subscriptions and export data into various formats including Excel, PDF, CSV, or XML files. You will also be responsible for importing and exporting data from/to SQL tables and creating and scheduling jobs to run automatically on the database using SSMS. Effective communication with internal users regarding specific requests, as well as participation in meetings, documentation, task, and time tracking, will be essential components of your responsibilities. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of SQL development experience. You will work within an agile software development methodology, both independently and as part of a team, to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality software. Your ability to review, analyze, and modify programming of application systems, including encoding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs, will be crucial to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Read and write complex queries using SQL.
• Create database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, and user-defined functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of SQL development experience using SSMS.
• Experience with SQL Server, TSQL, and OOP (preferably .NET/C#).
• Proficient in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Ability to review, analyze, and modify programming of application systems.
• Strong debugging skills and experience in developing and implementing new application systems.
• Ability to resolve complex problems with existing application systems.
• Experience working within an agile software development methodology.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact with end users/SMEs.
