About the position

The Sustainability Product Analyst at ESG Flo is responsible for leading Scope 3 consulting services and double materiality assessments, guiding clients through comprehensive sustainability assessments. The role involves transitioning to product management of the Scope 3 software, collaborating with design and engineering teams to enhance product features and optimize user experience. The analyst will play a crucial role in making ESG data collection and reporting efficient and enjoyable, ultimately supporting clients in their sustainability journeys.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Scope 3 engagements by assisting clients in identifying relevant Scope 3 data points and calculating the Scope 3 footprint.
  • Deliver a detailed Excel workbook with documented assumptions and traceable calculations for Scope 3 results.
  • Present final Scope 3 results, including methodology, assumptions, insights, and recommendations for improvements.
  • Collaborate with clients to establish data collection processes for future Scope 3 assessments.
  • Develop comprehensive methodology documentation for audit purposes and integrate results into the ESG Flo software platform.
  • Conduct Double Materiality Assessments (DMA) by identifying key sustainability matters and engaging stakeholders.
  • Deliver a comprehensive DMA matrix and documentation outlining prioritized Impact, Risks, and Opportunities (IROs).
  • Prepare detailed methodology documentation for DMA for audit use and input results into the ESG Flo software platform.
  • Product manage the ESG Flo platform by prioritizing new Scope 3 features based on business needs and user feedback.
  • Collaborate with Design and Engineering teams to develop new features and lead testing efforts for smooth client onboarding.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Scope 3 emissions calculations.
  • Familiarity with setting Science Based Targets and conducting double materiality assessments.
  • Experience in client-facing roles.
