About the position

The Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist at Judson is responsible for managing and overseeing the recruitment process for various positions within the organization, ensuring compliance with CCRC regulations. This role involves working closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations. The specialist will also be tasked with building relationships with community organizations and educational institutions to create a talent pipeline, while maintaining records and compliance with employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the recruitment process for positions at Judson.
• Work with hiring managers to determine staffing needs.
• Conduct interviews and make hiring decision recommendations.
• Write and post internal and external job advertisements.
• Conduct reference and background checks as needed.
• Monitor compliance of medical examinations and substance screenings.
• Identify sources to market and network open positions.
• Build relationships with community organizations and educational institutions.
• Participate in HR department meetings.
• Maintain acceptable attendance and punctuality.

Requirements

• 1+ years of recruiting experience with high volume recruiting.
• Familiarity with recruiting metrics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
• Familiarity with Behavioral Interviewing concepts and techniques.
• Computer literacy, including strong skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience working with ATS systems and process improvement.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a healthcare or retirement community setting.
• Knowledge of CCRC compliance rules and regulations.
