About the position

The Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing and overseeing the recruitment process for various positions at Judson Retirement Community. This role involves ensuring compliance with CCRC regulations, conducting reference and background checks, and collaborating with hiring managers to meet staffing needs. The specialist will also focus on improving retention by ensuring cultural fit and building relationships with community organizations to create a talent pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the recruitment process for positions at Judson according to CCRC compliance rules and regulations.
• Conduct reference and background checks as needed.
• Work with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and make hiring recommendations.
• Write and post internal and external job advertisements using various platforms.
• Monitor compliance of medical examinations and substance screenings.
• Identify sources to market and network open positions and build relationships with organizations for talent acquisition.
• Participate in HR department meetings and maintain acceptable attendance and punctuality.

Requirements

• 1+ years of recruiting experience with high volume recruiting.
• Familiarity with recruiting metrics and accountability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Familiarity with Behavioral Interviewing concepts and techniques.
• Computer literacy, including strong skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience working with ATS systems and process improvement.
