About the position

Jade Fiducial is seeking a motivated Junior Tax Accountant to support small businesses and individuals with their accounting and tax needs. The role involves various accounting functions, including bookkeeping, tax preparation, and payroll management, providing an excellent opportunity for professional growth in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Reconciliation of bank and company accounts
• Reviewing client's financial statements
• Preparation of outsourced bookkeeping for clients
• Preparing sales tax returns for clients
• Preparing payrolls for clients
• Preparing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns

Requirements

• 2+ years of tax or accounting experience (including internships)
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or French DUT/BTS in accounting
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and handle a high-volume workload

Nice-to-haves

• CPA experience preferred
• French fluency is a plus
• Proven track record of solving practical problems
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• High level of integrity and respect for quality assurance requirements
