About the position

The Junior Onboarding Specialist position will be responsible for client onboarding, collecting necessary documents, client follow up, internal workflow, Carrying out administrative duties such as gathering documents, answering complex questions and requests, scheduling and assigning administrative projects. This position requires knowledge of tax laws and regulations, excellent communication skills, strong excel skills, and a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Client onboarding and collecting necessary documents.
  • Client follow up and internal workflow management.
  • Carrying out administrative duties such as gathering documents, answering complex questions and requests.
  • Scheduling and assigning administrative projects.
  • Reviewing financial statements and tax filings to determine data needs.
  • Driving continuous improvement in Uplinq's automated bookkeeping and tax systems.
  • Providing information by answering questions and requests.
  • Supporting team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.

Requirements

  • Experience with QuickBooks Online, Adobe, ShareFile, and Google suite.
  • Ability to learn new software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in tax laws and regulations.
  • Experience in onboarding companies for tax preparation.
