About the position

The Junior Technical Project Manager will support the planning, coordination, and execution of AI projects within a fast-paced startup environment. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time and aligned with business goals, providing an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals passionate about AI and technology.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing technical AI projects, ensuring alignment with the overall product roadmap and company goals.
  • Coordinate project timelines, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of milestones.
  • Support daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure that the team is on track to meet goals.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to remove blockers, solve problems, and keep projects moving forward.
  • Track and report project metrics such as timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Document project requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with the product team.
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Help manage the product backlog and ensure that tasks are properly prioritized based on business value.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, ensuring best practices in Agile project management.
  • Engage in hands-on support of project tasks and product testing when necessary.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in project management, preferably in a tech-focused environment.
  • Exposure to or interest in AI, machine learning, or related technologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working with tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) or relevant experience in the tech industry.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • U.S. residency is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Basic understanding of AI/ML principles or hands-on experience with AI projects.
  • Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
