About the position
VSolvit is seeking a Junior Test Engineer with an Active Secret Clearance to join their Test and Training Team. This role involves supporting test capabilities and internal testing for various complex electrical surveillance systems at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. The position is designed for motivated self-starters who are eager to learn from experts in the field and contribute to the testing of security systems.
Responsibilities
- Defines, documents, analyzes, performs, and interprets developmental tests for new and/or modified products or product components.
- Devises and applies testing procedures for parts or sub-assemblies received from outside vendors.
- Investigates and resolves operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel.
- Provides technical support, testing, and advice to other engineering groups.
- Assists in answering questions from the Customer and FSRs, logs calls and solutions in COLTS.
- Reviews and updates curriculum to support multiple facets of the force protection system training program.
- May occasionally travel to other CONUS or OCONUS locations to assist in unit training and site survey development for IBD-SS Systems.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- AA/AS degree with 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
- Active US Secret security clearance required.
