About the position
The Junior UI Developer role is a full-time, W-2 consulting position aimed at individuals looking to advance their technical careers in a dynamic and rapidly growing IT consulting firm. The position requires a foundational understanding of UI/UX principles and experience in mobile app development, with a focus on either iOS or Android platforms. The role offers opportunities to work with Fortune 1,000 clients and gain valuable experience in the IT consulting sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain user interfaces for mobile applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of company-based IT experience after obtaining a degree.
- Experience with at least one programming language such as Java, JavaScript, Swift, Objective-C, or Kotlin.
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles for mobile applications and proven experience with at least one mobile platform (iOS or Android).
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with ReactJS, NPM, YARN, PNPM.
- Knowledge of extensions with VSCode, JSON, ES5, ES6, JavaScript/TypeScript, MVVM, MVC, MVP, Viper, FLUX, HTML/CSS.
