About the position

GliaCell Technologies is seeking a Junior UI Front End Developer to join our team, offering a unique opportunity to work on a subcontract that supports a U.S. Government customer. This full-time position allows for up to four days of telework, providing flexibility while engaging in meaningful work that sustains critical mission-related software and systems. Your role will involve analyzing user requirements, debugging existing software, and providing recommendations for improving documentation and software development processes. You will also design and code new software or modify existing software to enhance functionality, assist in developing and executing test procedures, and integrate software into new or modified systems. Responsibilities

  • Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
  • Debug existing software and correct defects
  • Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
  • Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
  • Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components
  • Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
  • Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories
  • Write or review software and system documentation

Requirements

  • Possess an active or reinstatable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience with React or similar libraries (Vue, Angular)
  • Ability to consume and create REST APIs and WebSockets
  • Experience with JavaScript 3D libraries such as Three.js is preferred, but not required.
