About the position

Barzo Inc. is seeking a creative and motivated Junior UI/UX, Graphic, and Web Designer to enhance the user experience of their social app. This full-time, in-office role involves collaboration with product managers, developers, and fellow designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly designs that align with the brand identity. The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the design team to create engaging UI/UX designs for the Barzo app.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts.
• Design graphics, icons, and other visual elements for the app and marketing materials.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and refine designs.
• Ensure all designs are consistent with Barzo's branding and visual identity.
• Work closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and assist in implementation.
• Stay current on industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, Sketch, or similar software.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and web development principles is a plus.
• Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design, graphic design, and web design projects.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• A passion for creating user-centered designs and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with mobile app design and familiarity with mobile design guidelines.
• Understanding of accessibility best practices in design.
• Knowledge of user research methodologies and usability testing.
