About the position

The Junior UX/UI Designer will play a crucial role in designing user experiences for a healthcare tech company focused on improving emergency medical care for children. This position involves collaboration with product and development teams to create intuitive and engaging designs, while also conducting user research to inform design decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in UX/UI principles and a desire to grow in a supportive and innovative environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the product manager and developers to create user-centered designs.
• Conduct user research, including surveys and usability testing, to understand our audience and improve designs.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that clearly convey user experience flows.
• Apply and evolve design guidelines to ensure visual consistency across platforms.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback from team members and users.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in UX/UI design with a portfolio demonstrating a range of projects.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and take constructive feedback.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design is a plus.
