About the position

The Junior Videographer/Video Editor position is designed for a creative individual with 1-3 years of experience in video production and editing. This role involves contributing to the filming and editing of content across various platforms, ensuring high-quality storytelling and adherence to brand guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio and a keen eye for detail, working collaboratively with teams to produce engaging video content.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with setup for video shoots, livestreams, and podcast recordings, ensuring lighting, audio, and camera equipment are optimized.
  • Capture high-quality video and audio for livestreams, YouTube content, and podcasts, both on-site and remotely.
  • Edit video and audio content, syncing files, performing color correction, and integrating sound design and visual effects.
  • Create lower thirds, transitions, and add music for a polished final product.
  • Transform long-form content into short clips optimized for social media sharing.
  • Prepare and optimize content for YouTube and podcast platforms, ensuring correct file formats, accurate titles, and engaging descriptions.
  • Collaborate with the lead video editor, creative, and social media teams to meet deadlines and align content with brand guidelines.
  • Review and finalize content for consistency in branding and messaging.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of video production and editing experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop is a plus
  • Familiarity with video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear
  • Strong storytelling ability and a portfolio that reflects engaging, brand-aligned content
  • Experience with livestream setup and management (preferred)
  • Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge of YouTube and podcast production workflows
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with After Effects and Photoshop
