About the position

The Junior Visual Designer at iLawyer Marketing is responsible for creating modern and innovative website designs while prioritizing user experience and interface. This role involves collaborating with project managers and other designers to develop compelling visual content that enhances brand visibility and engages users. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their design capabilities, particularly in digital formats, and will be expected to contribute creatively to various design projects.

Responsibilities

• Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics, and layouts
• Partner with project managers to help brief and advise clients regarding design style, format, and production timeline
• Develop strong concepts and layouts with website, print, and logo design
• Work with other web designers in a collaborative environment
• Prepare drafts of material based on an agreed brief
• Work with project managers/art directors for final layouts

Requirements

• 1+ years of graphic design experience in a fast-paced marketing agency setting
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design or related field (preferred)
• Portfolio demonstrating strong digital (UI/UX) designs required
• Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
• Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
• Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, XD etc.)
• Highly proficient in all design aspects
• Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines
• Ability to work onsite at our San Diego office
