About the position
The Junior Web Developer at IntelliBridge will support a federal agency focused on critical infrastructure protection and secure information sharing. This role involves assisting senior developers in creating enterprise-level websites and information systems, integrating new features, and ensuring the smooth operation of existing platforms. The position emphasizes collaboration within a dynamic team, providing creative solutions, and learning new technologies to enhance web applications.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior developers in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality websites and information systems.
- Work closely with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to integrate new functionalities into existing software.
- Support software deployment processes, ensuring smooth transitions between development and production environments.
- Continuously learn and field-test new technologies to contribute to innovative project solutions.
- Collaborate within a team environment to ensure the successful execution of project objectives.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with JavaScript (including React version 14 or above), HTML, and CSS.
- Understanding of web development frameworks like ASP.NET/C# or comparable technologies.
- Experience working with databases (especially SQL) and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with software integration, build, installation, and deployment processes.
- Experience with both green field development and maintaining/upgrading legacy systems.
- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum framework.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with emerging JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js and Leaflet.js.
- Understanding of API development and data architecture.
