About the position
The Justice Programs Specialist position at Monroe County involves working with individuals in the bond monitoring and electronic monitoring program. The role focuses on supporting participants in their journey towards sobriety and successful program completion by providing necessary tools and guidance. The specialist will enforce program rules, manage behavior issues, and develop personalized case plans for participants.
Responsibilities
- Encourage and provide participants with tools for sobriety and program success.
- Explain and enforce program rules and regulations.
- Control behavior problems and impose discipline as necessary.
- Develop and maintain individual case plans for participant self-improvement.
- Track participant work and home activities while on electronic monitoring.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year experience working with incarcerated adults or juveniles or closely related experience preferred.
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license required.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
