Responsibilities

  • Focus on prospecting directly to new clients and supporting the needs of existing clients.
  • Establishing and maintain client relationships
  • Develop and implement plans to take advantage of all A/V project sales opportunities.
  • Perform business development activities that result in revenue for the company
  • Cross-sell with other ESC divisions' account managers as appropriate.
  • Effectively perform needs assessments, develop sales proposals, estimates, specifications and presentations.
  • Work collectively with operations, administration and other inside/outside resources as needed to obtain the sale.
  • Follow through on sold projects to ensure satisfactory completion, and conversion to service agreements and labor hours.
  • Ensure a smooth sales-to-operations turnover, monitor progress and assist in resolving installation, collections and other client satisfaction issues as required.
  • Develop and build long-term relationships with clients, vendors and peers.
  • Focus on client retention and satisfaction/loyalty.
  • Manage A/V sales leads and grow assigned customer accounts
  • Achieve/Exceed assigned yearly quota with gross margin goals
  • Develop and implement plans to take advantage of all sales opportunities for assigned customers
  • Works on team sales projects with other sales team members as assigned by management
  • Effectively review bids, follow up on sales leads, develops sales proposals, estimates, specifications and presentations
  • Ability to do a design/build projects from customer requirements or existing equipment replacement
  • Ability to do strategic Account Management through maintenance/service contracts
  • Coordinate cross-selling to existing ESC security/AV customers by getting contracts so that we can do a warm transfer by introducing our other divisional business units
  • Ability to travel locally and coordinate / present technical information related to A/V to customers and end-users
  • Support sales promotion campaigns for customers
