Responsibilities

• Adjust brakes and replace brake system parts, including air brake and anti-locking systems.
• Analyze and interpret computerized diagnostic equipment information.
• Check lighting and wiring mechanisms for proper functioning.
• Complete repair order paperwork and enter data into fleet information management system.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on motor vehicles and equipment.
• Prepare vehicles for use by checking required safety features.
• Troubleshoot, test, and repair electrical systems, electronic ignitions, and fuel injection systems.
• Perform quality assurance/analysis on repaired vehicles and equipment.

Requirements

• Experience in automotive service and repair, particularly with fleet vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Ability to use computerized diagnostic tools and perform complex diagnostics on vehicles and equipment.
• Knowledge of safety features and maintenance requirements for heavy equipment used in construction.
