Responsibilities

• Assist in assigning and overseeing the work of special jobs and/or contracted crews.
• Coordinate with local authorities to develop and implement traffic management plans for special events and incidents.
• Handle and dispose of hazardous material spills on highways as required.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to the public regarding areas of responsibility.
• Prepare daily and weekly work schedules.
• Procure and manage payment for specialized contractors for incident clean-up and removal.
• Ensure projects adhere to established safety guidelines.
• Handle public complaints and inspect maintenance contract work.
• Train employees on the use of equipment and procedures.
• Perform other job responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements
