About The Position
Under the direction of the Security Coordinator, the K9 Security Officer will perform security service duties through professional and positive interactions with the patients, staff and visitors. Responds to a variety of calls, provides assistance in emergency and non-emergency situations. Investigates and documents safety hazards, incidents and criminal activity. Patrols designated areas to ensure the protection of all patients, staff, visitors and property of AnMed. Deters crime and aggressive behavior, engages in public relations activities, and provides basic K9 husbandry duties as assigned.
