The Kaiser Mental Health Workforce Accelerator Project Coordinator position at Seattle University is a full-time role that plays a crucial part in a collaborative initiative aimed at enhancing the mental health workforce in Washington State. This project is a partnership between Seattle University, Kaiser Permanente, the National Council for Wellbeing, and the Washington Council for Behavioral Health. The primary goal of this program is to increase the number of qualified mental health professionals with licensure while promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in patient-facing mental health positions. The coordinator will work under the leadership of the co-chair Program/Technical Lead and the supervision of the MSW Program Director, focusing on the recruitment, placement, and retention of post-master level clinicians in partnering agencies to help them achieve their licensure. In this role, the coordinator will engage with critical stakeholders to support the collaborative implementation of the program. Responsibilities include recruiting, enrolling, and onboarding candidates, providers, and academic partners, ensuring that the recruitment and selection processes reflect the increasing diversity of clients and population needs. The coordinator will also be responsible for setting up new practicum sites and student placements in the online practicum management system, maintaining system information, and supporting and leading workshops and training sessions for candidates and providers. Additionally, the coordinator will assist post-master candidates in successfully passing their licensure exams and completing the necessary internship hours, while also completing program and placement site reports, including supervision hours.
