About the position

The Licensed Master's Level Social Worker (LMSW) will work to identify and intervene with at-risk populations to mitigate psychosocial barriers to optimal care outcomes. Social workers provide services to children, adolescents, and adult patients/families/staff at Children's Mercy and complete comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans in conjunction with internal and external team members. This position is located at our Kansas Campus and is responsible for responding to consults across the Kansas and College Boulevard locations including: Ambulatory clinics, Inpatient and Emergency Department. This is a daytime role.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree MSW from Accredited Program and 1-2 years' experience
  • REQUIRED: Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW) Kansas, required upon hire
  • WITHIN 90 DAYS: Licensed Master's Social Worker in MO (LMSW)
