About the position

The Photography Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging photography instruction to high school students. This includes teaching fundamental photographic concepts, techniques, and equipment, such as composition, lighting, camera operation, and basic image editing. The teacher will create a supportive learning environment that fosters student creativity and critical thinking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit upon hire.
  • Enrollment in a Teacher's Education Program if hired without completing one, with a maximum of 3 years to obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license.
